Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Astrophysics / Planetary sciences @ IRAP
Graduated with a PhD in Astrophysics from the Paris-Saclay University prepared within the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS) and the Laboratoire Atmosphères, Observations Spatiales (LATMOS), I am currently a CNES Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institut de Recherche en Astrophysique et Planétologie (IRAP) in Toulouse.
My research theme is the study of Mars, more specifically the water-related story of the Red Planet. My work includes the detection and characterization of the water ice clouds in the Martian atmosphere, as well as the study of the hydration and alteration processes of the surface in the polar regions. I use infrared orbital observations acquired by the ACS and OMEGA instrument onboard the ExoMars TGO and Mars Express probes in orbit around Mars, along with (more recently) the EXI and EMIRS instruments onboard the EMM HOPE probe.
The popularization of science and the transmission of knowledge are particularly important to me, which is why I have been participating for the last years in various events (workshops, lectures) for the general public and schools.
Born in Montpellier, in the South of France, I practise Taekwondo since 2001. Currently 4th Dan black belt, upper class national referee, and qualified federal instructor, I taught this martial art at the Paris-Saclay University from September 2016 to June 2021. I am also keen on amateur astronomy and motorbike.
